A Venn diagram uses circles to show relationships among entities or concepts.
Venn diagrams visually represent the similarities and differences between concepts.
Venn diagrams are used in mathematics, statistics, logic, linguistics, teaching, computer science and business.
Use each circle to represent an entity; characteristics or similarities that the entities have in common are found where the circles overlap; items unique to only one entity are shown in the non-overlapping part of their respective circles.
